A California native, Anderson's chameleonic portrayals on stage have spanned to include Don Quixote, Ophelia, Richard Nixon, and Dr. Frank N. Furter. He played Burrs in the Los Angeles debut of both versions of THE WILD PARTY, and received the inaugural Joel Hirschfeld Award for Excellence in Theatre from The LA Drama Critics Circle.

Eric made his Broadway debut as Stewpot in the Tony award-winning revival of SOUTH PACIFIC at Lincoln Center. He was in the original Broadway casts of the Tony and Grammy award-winning best musical, KINKY BOOTS, ROCKY, THE LAST SHIP, SOUL DOCTOR, receiving a NY Drama Desk Best Actor in a musical nomination for his portrayal of Shlomo Carlebach, and most recently, WAITRESS, originating the role of Cal. 

Television credits include, "Elementary," "The Good Wife," "Mysteries Of Laura," "Law & Order: Criminal Intent," "Alias," and "Live At Lincoln Center," and he'll be Mr. O'Malley in the major motion picture, "The Greatest Showman," coming this Christmas.
